How this list is used
It feeds the map tool. Every consumer goes through
SP.cables, so a price entered here is the default for new runs
and the figure the cable schedule totals.
It will not re-price a plan you already costed. A drawn run
keeps the rate saved with it. Re-pick its cross-section in the map
tool's Selection panel to pull a new rate in. That is deliberate — a
quote you have sent should not change under you.
Outer diameter needs a core count. A 4-core 240 mm² cable is
61.2 mm; a 3-core is much less. The n column carries it, so
an OD figure means something. Nothing in the tool computes with OD
yet — it is here for trench and duct sizing, and for the ampacity
calculation this tool declines to do.
Iz stays yours. Ampacity depends on soil resistivity, depth,
spacing, grouping and load factor via IEC 60287. Fill it from your own
derating calculation and the map tool will flag runs over it; leave it
empty and it says ampacity not assessed instead of implying
the cable is fine.
